These were available from vending machines in 1994/95 for 50 cents apiece.
The great thing about these vending machines is that if you were loaded to the gills with quarters you were able to just stand there and get a whole set being that they were loaded in sequence.

SandyLion Vending 1995 Series #2 Sticker Set
These are Sandylion brand vending stickers. The complete set consists of #'s 1-12.
I was amazed to find these recently (08-14-15) -- after 20+ years of collecting I had never seen them before.
Unfortunately I'm two shy of a complete set, but sometimes the fun is in the findin' (or that's just what I tell myself to attempt to appease the avarice within.) Maybe both; I haven't really figured it out yet.... I'll let you know if I ever do.
